For three months, the rats ravaged the town, eating the village crop and spreading disease. The very old had all but died while the very young were near to death themselves. Those few souls who continued to thrive, lived in constant fear of contracting the disease themselves. Medicine men who had passed through had all failed to remedy the plague for various denizen
